Little girls in maxi dresses make my knees weak. There’s something that screams elegant as they parade around in long skirts. I think it’s maybe because it also makes the smallest of girls feel big like their mom. The Clementine features a fitted, fully lined bodice with a scooped neckline. Dress it up, dress it down, but either way, the Clementine is going to be a staple in your pattern library.
  • 4 Sleeve Options: Sleeveless, Short, 3/4 & Long

Materials Needed

This pattern works perfectly for Knitfabrics. You will need the following materials:

Bodice & Sleeves: 4-way stretch knit fabric with at least a 50% stretch but no more than 75% stretch- Recommend a blend of at least 5% spandex/lycra for good recovery. A lightweight spandex/lycra is recommended for the lining. Avoid loose knits (they tend to stretch and sag and do not have a good recovery). Avoid also 2-way stretch widthwise knits.

Skirt: Any knit or woven fabric with a good drape of your choosing.

1/4” (0.5cm) Clear elastic to stabilize garment.

Optional: 3/8” strips of four-way stretch interfacing to stabilize the facing neckline.

Another fabulous design!

I am so impressed with this line of patterns. The Clementine pattern is very cute! I love the options of multiple sizes and the instructions are well written.

Clementine Maxi Dress And tops for Girls

My wife loved the pattern. Perfect for our granddaughters that live in Missouri on a family farm. Had one issue with printing, four pages printed extremely light and when I tried to reprint the pages same thing happened Very pleased and patterns while be used a lot over the next 4 years

As always, these patterns are easy to follow! I made the maxi dress with the banded skirt and it came out beautifully. Mqy daughter wants to wear it all the time! She has already requested more dresses like this, so I will certainly be making more in the near future.
