Sweet little vintage style dress or tunic! It’s all in the details-pintucks on the bodice, fabric ruffling on the center panel of the bodice and sleeves, ruffles on the bottom. The Bodice is lined so no itchy edges against the body! It looks hard, but the instructions are very detailed and easy to follow. Take your time and go step by step and the results are amazing! This dress is truly versatile. As you can tell from the tester pictures, just a simple change in the fabrics turns it into a totally different look! Dressy enough for a wedding or church, but just as at home in school or for play. We already have fabrics picked for our next one!

This is an excellent pattern! Extremely well written. Great techniques. An absolute pleasure sewing it up. My girls adore their new dresses!

Such a beautiful dress with a vintage feel to it. The pintucks were tough but the instructions are great and I absolutely adore the final result. The vintage tea length (“tunic”) is almost unbearably cute, even on my big girl. I will make this dress again for special occasions, it is so pretty and classic; although we’re going to get a lot of play time out of it, too!

Fantastic pattern! WELL WRITTEN! This brings back a little bit of vintage flair, but I love that I have seen so much spunk added in some of these ladies sewing this dress too! Such a fun sew— a learning experience if you have never sewn pintucks, and fun for those who have. Those sleeves are just to die for!!! Outstanding work from this designer!

Beautiful dress/tunic with thorough instructions. Easy to modify and it looks great with a variety of options. I wouldn’t recommend this for a beginner just due to the sheer amount of work involved, it is (for me) a time-consuming project that is worth every moment. Fun to put together and lovely results. I will return for more patterns in the future.

What a very pretty dress every little girl will want. I bought this pattern to extend my skills with pintucking and learnt so much more. There are a lot of special details including the frill and middle piece on the front bodice, the sleeves are a masterpiece with the inside looking just as good as the outside and the bodice is lined. The whole dress has excellent finishes and well worth the time and love that is put into making this dress. Plus the wonderful Facebook ladies are there to help out. Thanks.

This pattern is excellent! All the pintuck lines are clearly marked. The finishing techniques are beautiful. It can be completely done on a regular sewing machine and the inside will be perfectly finished. I absolutely love the vintage look of this dress. And the sleeve ruffles….oh my goodness! The cuteness! The pattern instructions are very detailed and easy to follow.

Sweet Lily is a great pattern with well written instructions. Explore your creative side with mixing and matching color choices for ruffles and bodice. A really fun dress/tunic to create for your little ones. Any girl would love a dress/tunic like this, the ultimate little girl dress. While maybe not a beginner pattern, after you have a few dresses under your belt you should give it a try you won’t regret it.

I loved this pattern so much. The end result is nothing short of breathtaking! It looks so vintage and the little pintucks and ruffles add to its timeless charm. My daughter loved her dress as did I! I was so proud of the end result. It took me a little bit longer to do than other patterns I’ve used but so worth the extra time and effort, the dress looks beautiful inside and out!

I LOVE this dress!!!!!! I bought this one quite some time ago but only recently got round to making it and I’m so annoyed at myself for not making it sooner! It’s simply stunning and the instructions are so very clear and easy to follow. Not only that but there is always support online if you need it.
It definitely takes more concentration with the pintucks and those fabulous sleeves but it’s worth the work.
My 6 year old pranced around like a princess all day in this dress. I’m now making several more for customers – result!!!!

I made this pattern for my neice for her Easter dress out of some seam foam green gingham quilting cotton.
It turned out very well! I really love how nicely done this pattern is. The inside finishes are beautiful. I’d consider myself an advanced beginner or intermediate sewist. The directions are mostly easy to follow although it was nice to have the video of the sleeves on the Facebook page. It turned out very good and faster than I anticipated even though I would not call this a fast sew! Great pattern! My sister-in-law loved it!
