This Digital Sewing Pattern Includes:
Materials Required
- 4-way stretch knit fabric with at least a 50% stretch but no more than 75% stretch- Recommend a blend of at least 5% spandex/lycra for good recovery. Avoid lightweight spandex/lycra and loose knits (they tend to stretch and sag and do not have a good recovery). Avoid also 2-way stretch widthwise knits.
- Optional: Clear elastic to stabilize the waistline.
- Optional: 3/8” strips of four-way stretch interfacing to stabilize the facing neckline.

This pattern is so quick and easy to sew, and it looks great on babies! It’s great for hot summer days when you would normally dress them in a diaper only. Definitely a staple pattern!

USMy favorite peplum pattern
I don’t know if it’s the crazy covid stuff, being cooped up in the house or whatever else, but this was such a satisfying sew. Great drafting and grading, clear instructions and easy to follow assembly. If you get tripped up on the burrito roll method there’s a sew a long on the blog to help.

USSahara Baby vs Sahara Girls
The pattern prints nice. I like the one bodice piece per page. But the sleeves and skirts are all lengths on one and not separate pattern pieces like on the girls pattern.
