This is a perfect dress for a girl that loves to twirl and be comfortable at the same time. The banded bodice with bow detail gives a beautiful detail at the waist. The circle skirt drapes elegantly in knit fabric. With the option for both short and long sleeve, this pattern is ideal for both cool and warm climates.

Materials Needed

This pattern works perfectly for Knitfabrics. You will need the following materials:

A stable knit with only 2-way stretch and at least 30% stretch but no more than 70% is recommended for the bodice and bodice band to prevent sagging. The skirt can be made in 2 or 4-way stretch, light-weight knit fabrics. Woven fabrics are not recommended.


Also recommended:
Walking foot

Ballpoint or stretch needle

Twin needle (optional)

Used it once…not impressed.

It was…fine? But I accomplished similar style with better fit using other patterns.

Maxi Pattern is a must

I’ve made this pattern in several sizes and modified the back and sleeves. My girls love to twirl so this is a winner. Minimal pattern pieces and goes together quickly. If you have a server, I recommend serving the hem for a quick finish.

Extra twirl

This pattern was super easy to use. I doubled the skirt and put the shorter option over the longer option for ultimate twirl factor and the little girls loved it!
