There’s nothing I love more than a little baby in a woven romper. Add a twirly skirt to that and my heart absolutely melts. The Lisa sewing pattern has all these options and more. This pattern features a lined bodice with a button-up back. Sew this pattern as a dress, a romper, or a romper/dress mash-up! The optional peter pan collar gives it a sweet, vintage feel. The snap crotch for the romper makes diaper changes a breeze! This sewing pattern comes with 3 sleeve options: sleeveless, short sleeve, and long sleeve. Also included in addition to the romper are 3 dress lengths: top length, tunic length and a dress length that’s just above the knee.

Materials Needed

This pattern works perfectly for Wovenfabrics. You will need the following materials:

Woven fabric for both main and lining - Suggested fabrics include: quilting cottons, cotton poplins, cotton voiles, brocades, batistes, and jacquards to name a few. This pattern is not suitable for stretch fabrics.

Woven Fusible Interfacing

1/2” (13mm) Braided Elastic

1/4” (6mm) Braided Elastic (For Bloomer Option Only)

4 - 5/8” Buttons (1.5cm) (Back Button Placket Only)

5 - 5/8” Buttons (1.5cm) (Front Button Placket Only)

3 - Size 20 (12.4mm) Plastic or Metal Snaps (For Bloomer Option Only)
