I have been searching for the ultimate lounge shirt. I wanted something that could go as a basic but also had a few options. The Avery fits the bill! Pair the Avery with your favorite lounge pants like the BSD Robin! Add the optional ruffle sleeve or optional shirring at the wrist for some special dainty details. You can also dress it up with an optional breast pocket perfect for a cute coordinating fabric.

This pattern came together very easily. It is comfortable enough to be loungeweat or sleepwear, especially when paired with the new Robin pattern. However, if you style it right, Avery may become your new work wardrobe staple!
You could use this pattern to make a shirt for any occasion. So comfy and and a great fit
I had the pleasure of testing this pattern. When I made my first one, in black French terry, I wore it with jeans and a necklace and called it a church outfit. And it looked great! This is not JUST a lounge shirt -- it's the best relaxed-but-not-baggy basic shirt pattern ever. With a modest, classy fit and neckline, this is now the most important pattern in my repertoire.
This is the best fitting t-shirt type top that I have ever made. The pattern comes with the regular front and an FBA piece. I hate doing FBAs, even though I usually need them, so this is perfect having the built in piece. You can also print the pattern as trimless. A win-win situation.
This pattern was awesome and went together easily. This top is comfortable enough to be lounge or sleepwear, especially paired with Robin. However, if you style it right, Avery can also be your new favorite work wardrobe staple!
