Alice Pleated Dress – Ladies

Perfect fit, classic pleats, the Vintage look, pockets and not forgetting to mention full lining, is all what I look for in the dress and this pattern have it all. Its also available in girls sizes which make it the perfect choice for the mother and daughter outfit for that special occasion. With easy to understand Step by step written instruction that comes with the pattern, it was easy for me to get the perfect result as I imagined. One of the best dress pattern I have ever owned. Money well spent on this!

I love a bit of vintage flair and the little touches with my sew-me-clothing - and the Alice definitely brings both into to ball park. It is elegant, reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, and I made mine...with a sheet we didn't use! Sewing wise, I took my time to ensure I didn't miss any steps, and it went together perfectly. I wasn't confused during any of the steps, and it took me an afternoon to sew up. The sizing is right on, and I took a leap of faith and went without a muslin version - Melissa and Danielle at Bella Sunshine Designs know their patterns and I learnt not to deviate from their sizing recommendations, pending *I* measured myself properly right before sewing. I am hippy and have a booty, and this dress surprisingly doesn't make my booty look big or my hips look wider, Overall, it's a great pattern for those looking to enhance their sewing skills and sashay their vintage flair

When I bought the girls' Alice, I was in love. So when they released the ladies Alice, I was just so happy. I love everything about this dress. The fitted bodice with pleated skirt is the reasons why I am in love with this pattern. This dress is so beautiful in the outside as it is in the inside.
