It’s been a busy summer here at BSD. Summertime is always my favorite season to design for. Being a Florida girl, I often forget that it gets cold in other parts of the globe. I live in a place with beautiful beaches and endless sunshine. When we decided to do a woven shorts pattern, we knew we wanted something classic that would still have all the elements you have come to love from Bella Sunshine pdf sewing patterns. That is how the Rose Bubble Shorts were born.
The Rose Bubble Shorts – Sizes 6 Months to Girls 12
From the pleat detailing to the pockets edges with optional trim, these shorts encompass all the design elements you come to expect from BSD. The classic bubble shape gives such a youthful look that your girl will love to wear all summer. The leg binding hides the seams that can sometimes irritate delicate skin. And the extra ease in the bum gives plenty of room if you happen to be mom to a little one that wears cloth diapers. I love that the front waistline is flat, but the back has elastic which makes fitting easy. The moment my daughter saw these for the first time she begged me to let her wear them all day. And I can see why. The Rose Bubble Shorts are simply adorable.
Can I take a minute here to cry about how big my oldest is getting? I swear she looks more and more grown up every single day! It kills me.
Our Amazing Testers!
My testers did a great job as per usual. You would never know that testing has ended because my testers are still making shorts like mad. They said their kids are addicted. I guess that’s a sign of a great pattern right? Here are a few photos from my amazing testers.
