Here we are in the first month of a brand new year. What better way to kick it off than with an Amelia Sew Along! You can do it for Girls OR Ladies, of course!

Amelia Sew Along~ Coming Soon!

We're hoping to do a sew along a month in the coming year to keep the sewing excitement alive and thought we should kick it off with Amelia since we didn't get around to it last year as planned. Who's excited? Ready? Who's been waiting and dying for this to come around! I'll tell you, my hand it all sorts of up in the air right now!

A Little Different

After taking a few polls in the facebook group, we realized that you aren't overly fond of blog-based sew longs. So we're moving everything over to a group format to try that out! There will still be a schedule, daily participation posts, and prizes! So all the fun is the same, just the location has changed. We're going to see how it goes, but I have a strong feeling you all will love it! I'll be around to help troubleshoot or answer questions as needed as the event progresses.

A Look at Amelia

You can find the new Sew Along group here! And the Amelia Sew Along will begin on Monday, January 29th! As stated previously, you are welcome to sew either the girls or ladies version of Amelia... or feel free to do both! Mommy-daughter sets are always fun... if the girl is in agreement!

Let's take a look at some of Amelia's fetching features. First, we have the beautiful cross-over look in the bodice. So cute on girls, but not too daring on the ladies. The ruched waistband is so flattering on most body types, and is easier than you think to sew! Then there are the options... so many options! The sleeve lengths, the skirt lengths... you can make so many different dresses from this one pattern! So let's go find some crazy amazing fun fabric and prepare for BSD's first Sew Along of 2018! I'll be waiting for you!
