Coffee Shop Lace Dress

This dress is precious! The fit is great and the style is unique and so sweet! This is THE perfect tea party dress, and the instructions are written beautifully. A must have addition to your pattern collection!

This is an awesome pattern for any little princess. The v shaped front is great for a scrap of a coveted print or to showcase a favorite character or some hand made buttons. The square back neckline is eye catching and adds elegance. Instead of lace piping could be used also. The instructions are a breeze to follow and the patter pieces go together with ease. Thank you Melissa for yet another PERFECT pattern that my girls and I can enjoy for years to come (especially since the sizes go up to size 12)!!!

This is a lovely little dress. It gets a bit confusing printing the pattern from a black and white printer given that there are SO many sizes–perhaps it would have been best to split the smaller and the larger sizes on separate pages? Even so, it was doable in the end. Most of the instructions were very clear as well, though personally I could have used a little more direction with which way to press seams (especially the front panel bits). It resulted in an adorable finished product! Edit: Melissa emailed me personally after writing this review and said that you can separate the layers in the pattern to print just one size at a time. This dress has many possibilities. My daughter loves hers. I cant wait to make some princess versions. Its such a cute and flattering style. The pattern was simple and easy to follow. Even for a beginner this is a great pattern. Classic lines, perfect for tea time.
